It has been 31 days ago since Hardee won his last race (Hellur GP) and since that day Hardee didn't manage to score a single point for PVAXX. Hardee, who celebrated his 30th birthday last week, seems to be getting old, critics said.
But today he will suddenly appear in the national jersey. Gale Reason, the former #1, lost important points in Tweedaagse van Antwerpen and found himself in 2nd place now. Hardee, who apparantly scored a lot of points between day 15 and 75 last season, goes in the lead with 670 points. In the next days a lot of points can't be defended (#3 in Giro di Montelbano last season). Therefore this party could be a real short one.
At the moment Hardee gets to the start of Tavira - Faro, where he wears the national jersey for the first time. Tavira - Faro is a race that suits him well, so let's hope he takes another win today.
Edit: 6th with off day and a lot of bad luck for the team. They didn't told me about a curse of the national jersey?
